Subaru Got a Makeover

If you thought our arrival in Anchorage made us official Alaskans, you've got another thing coming. Check this out:

Alaska should change its state flag to a picture of a Subaru with a block heater plug hanging out of the grill.

An interesting side note: a lot of people, including us, wondered whether we were prepared for the weather in Alaska. Well, it is 25 in Sioux Falls right now; 42 in Indianapolis; and 50 in Anchorage. Not so bad. (Of course, the high temperature in Anchorage on January 7 this year was -11. Can't win 'em all).
